Interim Registered Manager – Adults Learning Disabilities – Support Living Services – Social Care

This charity owned organisation is one of the leading providers in adults learning disabilities for the south-west region. They have been supporting individuals with learning disabilities for over 30 years and have a range of different supported living and residential services throughout the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire counties.
They are extremely passionate about empowering the individuals that they look after to make their own decisions and to live life in the way they want to on a day to day basis.
Your new role
You will be joining this growing organisation at a very exciting time – Your new role as the interim registered manager will be to over see 3 to 4 different supported living services within the Gloucestershire area for a minimum of a 3 month period.
It will be your responsibility to liaise and guide the home managers using your experience and knowledge from previous roles to ensure that the homes are maintaining the highest standard of care possible and following CQC and safeguarding legislation at all times.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must have worked at a managerial level for at least 2 years in either a residential or support living setting. You will be expected to lead and teach a variety of different teams in different settings, therefore, you must hold an NVQ level 5 in management.
You will be expected to demonstrate your understanding of safeguarding legislation and CQC requirements on a regular basis within the different homes, therefore having experience holding a registration is a must. From a character perspective, you must be resilient, determined and driven – As this role, like any other, will come with it’s own exciting challenges.
