We are committed to delivering on the aims of The Promise and, as part of this, are trying to develop a more community based approach to supporting care experienced young people.
The successful applicant should have experience of working with young people, both individually and within groups. Many of the young people we support have experienced past trauma, so the successful applicant should also have a knowledge of the impact of trauma and ideally, experience in supporting young people affected by this. Possession of a recognised qualification such as an HNC in Child or Social Care or an SVQ is essential for this post.
