Clackmannanshire Children’s Social Work Services are fully committed to achieving the ambitions set out in The Promise. Our Family First approach continues to gain momentum across our community, and these exciting new posts are part of an overall broader strategic plan to firmly pledge to keep as many children and families together in Clackmannanshire. Intensive Family Support Workers will work within Children’s Social Work Teams to ensure the offer of early help. Posts will be placed at the Front Door of our service to ensure help is provided at the earliest point of contact – when families need help most. Holistic family support that upholds the principles of Intensive Family Support, as detailed in The Promise, is one of the foundations of The Promise. It is one of our foundations that we have been building. These posts shall work across the spectrum of early help and more targeted intensive supports. If you are passionate about prevention, empowerment of families, respecting and upholding children’s rights, and want to make a real difference in a local community, Clackmannanshire would love to hear from you.
This post is considered regulated work with children and/or protected adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council.
