The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £27.88 – £31.39
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday – Wednesday, 09:00-17:00
Days of working are negotiable, starting and finishing times are flexible, and flexi time is applicable.
To start 1st January 2025.
Home Working Consideration

The Jobholder has a statutory responsibility to promote best multiagency practice in relation to looked after children and those for whom there are child protection concerns, manage an independent quality assurance function, allowing the Council to achieve improved outcomes by challenging poor performance and contributing to the design and improvement of Services. The Jobholder will assist in developing care plans which have clear and achievable outcomes and which meet the corporate parenting responsibilities of the Council for children and young people, in line with statutory obligations, policies and procedures.

Relevant Qualifications
Must be educated to CQSW or equivalent.
Certificate in Child Protection.
Driving Licence
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*

PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
