East Dunbartonshire Council are looking to recruit an Implementation Support post on a temporary basis (2 year post) to join our fast paced and exciting Project Team.

East Dunbartonshire Council are looking to recruit one Implementation Support post on a temporary basis to join our fast paced and exciting Project Team and support the successful delivery of a new Housing Management System, focused around accelerating our digital transformation journey and enhancing the experience of our customers.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, and highly motivated and have exceptional communication skills providing enhanced customer service through proactive engagement, responsive support and information to all internal and external service users.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing a high-quality customer service and is in their element working in a busy and fulfilling role.

Experience of working within public sector housing is desirable, whether that has been within rents, lettings, housing or within a homelessness service.

The successful candidate must be performance driven and demonstrate role flexibility, have a collaborative mind-set and exceptional organisational skills. You should be highly proficient in IT skills, with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal expertise, be a team player with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

The post will involve working in partnership across the organisation, liaising with operational and leadership teams to support the strategic direction and vision of the Council through the delivery of a credible, consistent customer focused service which delivers on our corporate, service and team objectives.

This post is subject to Basic Disclosure Scotland clearance.

PVG / Disclosure Scotland

The following criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential criteria

Where the post you are applying for is considered Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007, successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by East Dunbartonshire Council.

Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary payment.

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.

Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.

The criteria outlined above will apply to existing employees of East Dunbartonshire Council who apply for roles for which a PVG/Disclosure check is required.
