East Dunbartonshire Council are looking to recruit two Implementation Leads (IHMS) on a temporary basis (2 year post) to join our fast paced and exciting Project Team.

We are looking for a system champion and someone who will ensure that our systems and digital offerings are fit for purpose and developed to a high standard for the benefit of our business and meets our legislative requirements. We are looking for someone who can transform our digital offering to staff and customers. You should have proven experience of IT systems and services, ideally in a housing-related environment.
Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, and highly motivated and have exceptional communication skills providing enhanced customer service through proactive engagement, responsive support and information to all internal and external service users.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing a high-quality customer service and is in their element working in a busy and fulfilling role.
The successful candidates will be performance driven and demonstrate role flexibility, have a collaborative mind-set and exceptional organisational skills. You should be highly proficient in IT skills, with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal expertise, be a team player with excellent attention to detail.
The post will involve working in partnership across the organisation, liaising with operational and leadership teams to support the strategic direction and vision of the Council through the delivery of a credible, consistent customer focused service which delivers on our corporate, service and team objectives.
This post is subject to Basic Disclosure Scotland clearance.

Where the post you are applying for is considered Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007, successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by East Dunbartonshire Council.
Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary payment.
In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.
Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
The criteria outlined above will apply to existing employees of East Dunbartonshire Council who apply for roles for which a PVG/Disclosure check is required.
