Hourly Rate: £12.20 – £13.54
Salary: £22,226.44 – £24,711.93 pro rata per annum
Contract Duration: Temporary until 31 December 2022

As a Housing Support Officer you will provide high quality community based housing support to people who are homeless and/or potentially homeless. In accordance with the Council’s Housing Support Duty you will assess the housing support needs of individuals and develop support plans which meet their particular needs and support their progress towards the individual’s desired outcomes.
Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.
Applicants must hold a SVQ2 Health and Social care qualification or HNC in a relative subject or Applicant must have 3 years relevant work experience and must be educated to a higher standards in English and possess reasonable numerical skills.
Applicants must be willing to work towards SSSC registration requirements for Workers in a housing support service.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
