Community Integration Support Officer (Temporary)
Housing Support Services are looking for a highly motivated, creative individual who is interested in being a part of our award-winning team.
You will actively contribute to the support and development of refugee resettlement services and the implementation of change through service user engagement, collaboration and partnership working. You will ensure that implementation is monitored and reviewed, and steps are taken to ensure progress as necessary and create and monitor opportunities for regular service user and stakeholder engagement activities.
Relevant experience working with Refugees, Council tenants, tenant groups or similar, experience of delivering presentations, extracting, organising, and manipulating information from various sources, carrying out service user consultations. working in partnership with stakeholders to deliver, measure and improve services is essential whilst maintaining confidentiality of service user feedback and data.
You must have proven experience of report writing to present findings and effective interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and experience in dealing with customers and stakeholders face to face, phone, and digital environments.
It is essential you have an empathic, sensitive but practical attitude towards dealing with refugees and vulnerable people. As an effective communicator, you will be able to develop relationships with stakeholders and communicate with people from various cultural backgrounds including where English is not their first language.
You will work well in a changing environment, working to deadlines in a creative and innovative way, with focus on external stakeholders and the service users and tenants who use our services with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Possession of a SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and commitment to ongoing personal development and training is essential aswell as Experience of Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft packages is required.
You must hold a current driving licence and have use of own transport.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding until 31/03/2025 or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
