What is the role?
Under the direction of the Team Leader (Hostels and Supported Accommodation), provide a housing
support service to residents within Viewfield Gate, Secession House, Elba Gardens and other
homeless temporary accommodation.

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 5; the hourly rate is from £14.43 to £15.52 and the annual salary is from £27,840 to £29,942 plus a 10% non-core allowance.
Our hostels work on a 8 week rolling rota as follows:
Day Shift: 07.15 – 19.15 and Back Shift: 19.15. – 07.15. It is a 12 hour shift with 1.5 hour unpaid break.
Shift Pattern: 2 day shift, 2 night shift and 4 days off.
These posts are considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
