Job Description

Required to provide a service to homeless and potentially homeless individuals and family households, ensuring that the Comhairle’s statutory duties are met.

Requirements

You must be educated to HNC/SVQ3 standard or have at least three years’ experience of working in a housing, support service and/or social care environment with direct client involvement.  You must have knowledge of Homeless Legislation and wider housing issues as well as the ability to work with and understand homeless clients who may have complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.  A full driving licence is essential.

Appointment to the post is fixed term to 31 December 2021.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.  Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade.
