Stirling Council wish to recruit a Homeless Prevention Co-ordinator to help deliver our ambitious Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan (RRTP), a central part of which is homeless prevention. This exciting opportunity needs someone with a strong background in homelessness and an understanding of homeless policy and legislation in Scotland. You will have operational experience of homeless services and preventive work, as well as working in partnership to deliver services and support.
Adopting the Housing First principles for some our most vulnerable service users, you will drive and deliver the aims of our RRTP to achieve positive outcomes for individuals and families affected by homelessness.
You will have excellent project and people management skills, as well as excellent communication and numeracy skills and be able to prepare and submit written reports for different audiences. You will also carry out research of best practice nationally and internationally and use this to inform and help develop services in Stirling.
