A leading provider within the Southwest of England who specialise in ‘homely homes’ supporting young adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs. The home will have an experienced home manager and a core team which reflect passion and commitment to the children and young people who are supported and are designed to feel warm and welcoming whilst providing an accepting environment.
Your new role
The Registered Manager will take overall responsibility for all aspects of running a complex care service for young adults between the ages of 16 and 18. Complying with all relevant legislation and standards within the home. They will oversee the day to day running of activity within the home and take responsibility for guiding the team, training and development, supervisions, rotas and ensuring continuity of support for each young person in the home.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be a caring and compassionate individual who has a passion for overseeing a team whilst in the duty of care of young people and having a positive impact on their day to day lives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Manager with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Health and Social Care, Children and Young People’s Services or the equivalent, 3 years’ experience working with children and 1 year within a deputy/senior role. A car and a full clean driver’s licence is required for this position.
