Your new company

Our Client is currently seeking an experienced worker to join their team to support adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs. Hays are currently working with a client that are offering a very welcoming and supportive environment with skilled staff and management.

Your new role

The manager takes overall responsibility for all aspects of the running of the service which includes:

• Registration as the manager with the relevant regulator (CQC) and compliance with all legislation and standards.
• Ensure that the staff team enable the people we support to lead a valued and fulfilling life and to maximise their rights as members of the local community.
• Maximise the potential ability of all individuals, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially, whilst working in accordance with the company’s philosophy of care and values, policies, and procedures.
• Leadership and management of the staff team, to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous Experience as a Deputy or Manager.
• CQC Registered
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, sleep ins and on calls
• Participate fully in the on-call rota for the service, which includes covering staffing short falls.
• Keep own learning and development up to date and attend training courses as required.
