What is the role?
To provide extended personal care to the most vulnerable members of the community, in a way that supports the maintenance of the individual’s independence and dignity and offers them a positive choice in their own home.

The Grade of these posts are Grade 2 / Level 5 and the hourly rate is from £12.76 to £13.80. There is a 10% non-core allowance for backshift posts only.
Available areas are as follows:
Successful candidates will be expected to travel efficiently and may be required to work out with normal work area and those who drive will be provided with a fleet vehicle whilst on shift and non-drivers will be given access to E bikes.
These posts are considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. Please note you may be required to meet the PVG cost.
