Your new company
Hays Social Care are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants on behalf of a client based near Wollaton in Nottingham. This will involve supporting adults and the elderly with mental health, challenging behaviour, autism, learning and physical disabilities, and other related challenging behaviours within an independent living provision.

Your new role

• Support individuals and their carers using a reablement approach to remain in their own environment improving quality of life
• To have the ability to assess service users’ needs and a complete a care plan for the individual
• Maintain accurate and appropriate records in service users care plans and update office records and systems accordingly
• Support individuals with their personal care, medication prompts, light meal preparation / drinks, shopping and practical emotional support problems

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proof of right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
• Full driving licence holder and access to vehicle
• Experience in the delivery of personal care, medication prompting
