A specialist care residential setting for 10 adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. The company has an extremely good reputation and a supportive team who work collaboratively to improve the lives of these vulnerable adults. Their aim is to provide service users with a relaxed and comfortable environment where residents are encouraged to become active and valued members of both their home and community.

Your new role
Being a Healthcare Assistant isn’t just about caring for someone in day to day life, it’s about having fun! The people we support are very involved in the things they like to do so they would love their carers to play an active part in the things they enjoy as well. Fun could be anything from listening to music, gardening, going to church or even going to the seaside. We provide support that is person centred so that everyone has the right support for them.

Shifts
Shifts will include long days 8am – 8pm or 7am – 7pm, you will be required to work 3 or 4 days a week.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting adults, ideally in a residential / supported living setting. You will also ideally have experience caring for those in wheelchairs. Finally, you will be dedicated to helping vulnerable adults reach their full potentials.
