We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to join our award-winning home care team, recognized for its exceptional quality of service to adults with physical and learning disabilities, as well as elderly care.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Leadership & Management: Provide effective leadership across the business, supporting both the management team and care staff to achieve high standards of service delivery.
• Strategic Development: Work closely with the Director to develop and deliver high-quality services, establishing clear performance targets and monitoring their implementation.
• Operational Excellence: Manage various operational areas to ensure compliance with quality standards while meeting financial objectives.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strategic and operational relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
• Innovation: Leverage health and assistive technologies to identify new service development opportunities, enhancing overall service provision.
• Financial Oversight: Assist with financial management, including budget management, cost monitoring, and financial planning.
• Project Management: Lead the implementation of new systems and processes to improve business efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications & Experience
• Essential: Significant experience in the health/social care sector, ideally at a middle management level or higher.
• Education: Must hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Candidates with a Level 7 qualification will have an added advantage.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, strong leadership and coaching abilities, and a thorough understanding of personalization in a care environment.
