Midlothian’s Family Group Decision Making team is a key part of Midlothian’s commitment to the Promise and support children remain within and connected to their families. We are seeking to expand our team to build capacity. This role will support a new Family Support Team and introduce family meetings as an option where children are not engaging or thriving in school.
The coordinator will be responsible for working with families and family support staff to create family based plans that improve attendance, attainment and wellbeing.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
Based on you working 36 hours over 39 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £36,117.53 per annum.
