Support worker
Hays Social Care are working with an outstanding organisation based in the Evesham area to support young adults with disabilities with practical and emotional care, enabling them to have fulfilled lives, to gain further independence and realise their potential as equal and active citizens.
We can offer work on a flexible basis so you decide when you work and how many hours you would like each week.
The people that you will be supporting may have learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, epilepsy, and complex needs.
You will be supporting these individuals with days out and activities, including meals out, horse-riding, shopping trips, going to the gym, swimming, and social activities.
You will also help with food preparation, personal care, and general household duties.
Our client works closely with each individual and their families to make sure each care programme is carefully personalised; including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, guided leisure time, vocational training and independent living skills where needed.
You Will Need: – prior Experience with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs – A Professional Attitude – be Passionate about Care – You must be organised, a good communicator and self-motivated – Drivers are desirable
