Support Worker Job – Pontypool – Young Adults with Learning Disabilities
We are looking for experience Support Workers to take on an opportunity in a college that service young adults with varying learning and physical disabilities.
The organisation provides various educational tools services to support adults ages between 18 and 25 to gain independence and develop skills. They work alongside physical, occupational and speech therapists and are in need of Support Workers who are able to support the students in their learning. You will be supporting students with their learning programmes, personal care, therapy programmes and work experience.
You will need at least 6 months experience working in a Social Care setting.
You will be available during the school’s operational hours, which are 8.30 – 3.30pm Monday to Friday. They are looking for Support workers who are available to start as soon as possible and are flexible to work 5 days a week. There are also options for picking up less hours, based on the needs of the organisation.
