Joint Loan Equipment Service is seeking to recruit to a Driver/Storeperson. The role of Driver/Storeperson has 3 key critical functions which contribute to services key priorities. These are in terms of recycling community equipment, which requires, cleaning, decontaminating, and refurbishing in order that the equipment can be fit for reissue, assisting with community equipment stock management and control, warehouse operational functional activities and supporting service users in the community by delivering, fitting and uplifting community equipment to individuals in their own homes.

A clean valid driving licence is an essential requirement and experience of handling of light commercial vehicles in a multi drop environment is desirable. 

Moving and Handling skills would be desirable.  Good communication and basic administration skills are essential, as is an ability to work as part of a team.

Experience of working with elderly or vulnerable people with disabilities would be desirable.

A current forklift license would be desirable.

You will work 37 hours per week, including on-call or standby as required. May be required to work public holidays and weekends.
