A vacancy exists for a domestic in Orkney’s Residential Services.

The residential children’s service in Orkney is committed to providing a safe, stable, and nurturing home setting for looked after children.

We are seeking a Domestic who will be committed to maintaining a positive and safe environment for children and young people and to work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies ensuring that the building is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

The applicant will at all times adhere to confidentiality in matters relating to children and young people and their families, staff, and other service matters. You would also be expected to attend a team meeting on the first of every month. In return, you will be provided with regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your existing skills.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
