Your new role
In this role you’ll be transporting discharged patients from hospital back to their private residence, you’ll carry out home checks and ensure the individual is comfortable and safe. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving and have good interpersonal skill sin order to make conversation with the patients. Training on the role will be provided and carried out in Taunton. Previous experience in the social care sector of at least 6 months within the last 2 years is an essential requirement for this role. The role is 27-35 hours worked between Monday and Friday, they are flexible on between which hours this can be worked. This is a temporary role until the end of July the potential of an extension.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Six months experience in care / social care in the last 2 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to new situations
• Ability to work well within a team
• The passion to make a difference in people’s lives
• References from previous work, at least one being a care environment
