Recruiting an Experience Deputy Manager for an Adults LD Supported Living Service
Your new company
Hays Social Care are currently recruiting a deputy manager to work for a reputable local charity based in Rugby supporting individuals with learning disability and autism in supported living environments. They support individuals and their families to lead fulfilled and valued lifestyles by providing high quality care and promoting independence of service users.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the supported living services. You will be responsible for a staff team; managing rotas, recruitment, and attendance of staff. You will support staff in caring for service users and liaise with families and external services when necessary.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is essential you have previous experience as a deputy or supervisor in a social care environment. Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in health and social care. You will need to be committed to making a positive impact on vulnerable people’s lives and be able to manage individuals with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will have had some experience managing staff teams as well as a good level of administration skills.
