Deputy Manager – Social Care – Adult Learning Disabilities
Hays are working exclusively with an industry leading client that is looking for an up and coming Social Care Manager, with an experienced background in the adult and learning disabilities specialism.
You will be joining a fantastic organisation in the Cheltenham / Gloucestershire area that can offer both a great workplace environment as well as a high level of training to progress your career within the health and social care sector.
What the company needs from you :
You will need to have first hand experience working in a residential home environment with adults, along with experience working with learning difficulties.
NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
You will need to be current and familiar with CQC standards and regulations.
Be able to demonstrate previous experience working to CQC standards and show initiative in important decision making to improve / maintain high levels of care.
Being a leader is essential in this role as you will frequently be in charge of looking after both staff and residents and will be expected to make managerial decisions.
Having great communication skills will be absolutely key in this role as you will be working closely with your senior manager an be expected to understand and complete tasks set by them in a timely and confident manner.
