Deputy Manager – Adults Learning Difficulties – Residential and Support Living – Social Care

This family owned organisation has been providing care for adults with learning difficulties for over 20 years in the Stroud area. They offer both residential and supported living services from a variety of different settings based throughout the district.
This provider and their homes are all run with the foundation of some key values which extend throughout their staff and the overall service that the provide. They pride themselves in being the best at what they do and their ability to offer a true sense of independence to the individuals they looks after.
Your new role
Your role as the Deputy Manager will be to ensure the running of the homes and ensure that all areas of the business is running well. This position is for a candidate looking to progress in their social care career and feel ready to potentially move up to a registered managers position within 12 months. You will be reporting directly into the area manager and who will be overseeing you and supporting you at every step of the way.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to have a background in working within the learning difficulties specialism as well as an NVQ level 3 in social care and senior / managerial experience. You must be driven and passionate about your role and have ambition to progress as well as being eager to learn.

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of £26,000-£30,000 depending on experience, along with other benefits. This is an opportunity to progress, as you will ideally be looking to move into a registered managers position within the business within 12 months.
