Job Overview:
Serenity Specialist Care Limited is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager for our residential children's home. In this role, you will support the Registered Manager in daily operations, ensuring high-quality care for young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead shifts, create and implement care plans, supervise staff, and maintain compliance with Children's Home Regulations. Collaboration with families and professionals is essential, as is fostering a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Requirements:
Candidates should have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a residential children’s home and hold a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and experience managing challenging behaviors are essential. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership is desirable, along with good communication and organizational skills.
