35 hour contract working with Dementia patients, based in Edgbaston, Birmingham
Your new role
You will be working on a 35 hour contract working with dementia patient’s who have recently been discharge from hospital and into residential support. You will be providing personal care and support to the patients. The shifts would range between days, evenings and night; so you must be flexible and be able to work any shifts. You will receive up to £10 per hour, and 1.5x on bank holiday.
What you’ll need to succeed
Completed the Care Certificate or is on track to do so within 6 months.
Have undertaken Manual Handling Training (within 2 years)
Completed RQF level 2 or NVQ level 2 Social Care Qualifications
Experience of working in a care setting with older adults
An understanding of Dementia and how it may impact some individuals
The ability to complete electronic records , as all reports are completed electronically
