Day Services Manager – ABS38376 Full Time

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic manager to lead our South Day Services for a 6 month initial period. If you are passionate about providing top quality care for adults with a learning disability and a focus on service improvement and staff support, this could be the job for you. You will be responsibility for the running of the services, support to staff and ensuring the service meets registration requirements. We are looking for an experienced supervisor with a proven track record of working with adults with a learning disability and lots of enthusiasm.

Deliver day opportunities to adults with learning disabilities by developing day opportunity provision within community settings through strategic change; and providing true community participation by delivering providing high quality, person centred health and social care opportunities.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 6 months of employment.
