Recruiting a CQC Registered Manager for a Children’s Residential Service
Your new company
We are currently working with a new children’s residential service in the Corby area seeking a CQC registered manager. This service provides support for three young people aged 12-17 with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. This organisation strives to provide a safe environment conductive for progressive growth and development for vulnerable young people.
Your new role
The service is looking to recruit an experienced, qualified registered manager to lead a registered residential children’s home in Corby. You must be passionate about the needs of children and young people and have experience working in a similar setting. It is important the highest quality of care is provided along with supporting staff teams with a high level of leadership and management. As the registered manager you will lead and manage the day to day running of the service, ensuring it meets OFSTED policies and standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must have at least two years experience working with children and young people in a residential environment at a senior level. It is essential you have experience of supervising and managing staff teams in a social care environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must have a diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s workforce. It is desirable you have an NVQ 4 or 5, care manager or registered manager award although not essential.
