To support the Moray Community Justice Partnership with the local implementation of the Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016 and the National Strategy for Community Justice 2022.
To be responsible, on behalf of the Moray Community Justice Partnership, for the development and co-ordination of the Moray Community Justice Outcome Improvement Plan.
As a member of the Moray Public Protection Team, co-ordinate the design and delivery of self-evaluation, quality assurance and associated improvement activities on behalf of the Community Justice Partnership.
To lead on developing partnership relationships to co-operate with each other on planning for and delivering improved outcomes for Community Justice.
Lead on the development of inter-agency policies, practice development programmes, and community participation in relation to Community Justice initiatives.
Lead on the production of local Community Justice Outcome Improvement Plan for Moray and annual reports to Scottish Government.
Support the development of the local Outcomes, Performance and Improvement Reporting Framework and self-evaluation for the community justice local model.
Substantial experience of working in the Scottish Community Justice System and/or community planning or closely related settings.
Experience of partnership working in an integrated and/or multi agency environment.
Proven experience of service change/improvement projects.
Educated to Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent experience.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the National Strategy for Community Justice and the work of Community Justice Scotland.
Knowledge of quality assistance, continuous improvement and best value techniques and approaches to service provision.
Well-developed strategic planning skills.
Excellent community and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Negotiation and mediation skills.
Ability to translate national policy and legislation into the context of local organisation and practice.
Flexible working hours to meet the needs and demands of the service.
