The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week).  Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly Rate of Pay £15.88 – £17.90

Temporary for 12 months
Days and Hours of Work:
Wednesday – Friday, 09.00-17.00 
To start August 2022

An excellent part-time Community Housing Officer opportunity has arisen in our Tranent area housing team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic customer-focussed person to join our team and contribute to providing an excellent landlord service to our tenants. Responsible for a designated area of Council houses, your main duties will include allocating vacant Council tenancies, tenancy and estate management. You will also provide high quality housing options advice to housing applicants.

Job Details

As part of the wider Community Housing Service, to provide front line housing management services and housing advice to tenants, tenant/resident groups or their representatives.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to HNC in Housing or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate equivalent
knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

Driving Licence 
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*
