This is an exciting time for Occupational Therapists to join the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership. We have recently appointed a senior locality leadership team that is committed to ongoing professional practice development and career progression. We are fully committed to strengthening professional practice. We are currently undergoing a wide-scale service transformation that will not only improve outcomes for our services users, their carers, families and communities, but will also see the development of a stronger Social Work service within the partnership.
Working with local communities and a wide range of partners, our services continue to develop to support our ambition to help adults live safe, healthy and independent lives by offering enhanced preventative, pro-active and responsive community services.
We are now looking to appoint a number of Occupational Therapists for our teams across the partnership. Full time permanent and temporary posts are available across the locality teams.
You will be a motivated Occupational Therapist who is both enthusiastic and committed to improving the lives of our service users and our communities, who practises in a way that promotes better outcomes and focusses on strengths, rather than deficits. We are particularly interested in hearing from Occupational Therapists with skills in reablement focussed assessment.
You will join one of our multi-skilled teams; working closely with colleagues from within the health and social care partnership, in addition to a wide and growing range of external partners.
In return, we will offer you on-going professional development opportunities, a supportive environment with regular professional supervision and access to training. We are currently developing a clearer structure for career progression opportunities. You will also receive the support of a committed senior leadership team, which sees the true value of community based Occupational Therapy, where despite the pressures of budget savings and increased demand for services, we are committed to strengthening the role.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
The successful applicant will have their SSSC registration and PVG check covered under the paid entry costs scheme funded by the Scottish Government.
For informal discussion please contact Brianne Atkinson, Team Manager on (01324) 504059.
