Hourly Rate: £14.39 – £15.94
Salary: £26,263.18 – £29,091.93 pro rata per annum
Contract Duration: Temporary until 29 May 2023

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a busy and dynamic team in the role of Community Care Assessor. We are looking for someone who has exceptional attention to detail and are creative within their approach to the role.
This is an exciting time within the Peebles team as we are exploring new and exciting opportunities to support our community whilst working collaboratively with our partner agencies.
The post holder will provide an assessment and review service and frontline response to a range of community care service users with appropriate support and guidance from qualified professionals (i.e. social worker, OT, nurse or paraprofessional) .
To provide individual support to service users and carers.
To deliver the services in accordance with current legislation and council policies, procedures and standards.
To work with people with illness or disability in order to develop, restore and maintain an optimum realistic level of independence within the community.
Numeracy skills at Standard Grade or equivalent; English at a Higher Grade or equivalent.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
