As Solihull MBC’s recruitment partner I am looking for a Senior Commissioning Officer to join the Adult Care and Support division in this council

Your new role

As a Commissioning Officer for Solihull MBC you will be working as part of a team to ensure that commissioning strategies are delivered in a timely manner, with full regard for delivery of quality, value for money and customer satisfaction. You will also be actively engaging with people who use services in the design, monitoring and review of services.

Location: Council House, Solihull.

You will follow a hybrid working pattern and it will be necessary to work from a range of council offices within the borough.

You will be required to cover the commissioning duty rota – some weekend working will be required.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will need a relevant qualification in commissioning, health or social care, as well as some project management qualification.

You will also need to show extensive experience of working in an adult care service environment, and knowledge of the commissioning cycle and wider team approach to commissioning.

By working as a Senior Commissioning Officer for the Adult Division in Solihull MBC, you will be paid a competitive daily rate of £210 – premium rate.
