Duration: Permanent, Full Time (shift pattern over 7 days to 10:30pm)
About the Role:
To work within a team and agreed shift pattern to provide an excellent, customer focused, visible and accessible service to help ensure safety, cleanliness and a free flow of traffic in our communities. This includes making appropriate use of enforcement measures to achieve service objectives.
Minimum Qualification(s) / Certificates / Memberships etc.required
Be able to attain and hold satisfactory Disclosure Scotland Check
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Skills & Experience in:
Experience of dealing with challenging customers and situations
Ability to work proactively and with limited direct supervision
Ability to ensure that practical tasks are effectively implemented
Ability to communicate with customers both internal and external
Ability to produce accurate written work
The interpersonal skills necessary to sustain effective relationships on behalf of the Council with internal and external customers
E-literate and competent in using PC and associated networks
Understanding of:
Understanding of partnership working
Understanding of enforcement procedures, systems and relevant legislation
Awareness of the issues affecting socially deprived communities
Commitment to:
High levels of customer care
Achieving outcomes for the benefit of customers
