Children’s Waking Night Support Worker Job. Hull. Permanent and 0 hour £15369+ per annum

Your new company
You will be joining a company that specialises in working with young people with autistic spectrum disorder, mild to severe learning difficulties, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, challenging behaviour and complex needs.

Your new role
You will be working as a support worker in a 2-bedded home for children with EBD needs. You will work NIGHT SHIFTS of 10pm-8am. You will work as part of a small team supporting 2 children aged 8-18.

What you’ll need to succeed

• You MUST be over 20 years old due to OFSTED requirement
• You will be a driver
• Calm, approachable manner, adaptable and non-judgemental
• You will have recent experience of working in a similar setting and be committed to working as part of the team on a long-term rota.
• You will lead by example and be a resilient character with a sense of humour who can manage challenging situations.
• Ideally hold NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Workforce or equivalent What you’ll get in return
• Full time and flexible Zero Hours contracts £15,369.12 rising to £15,619.12 after probationary period 36 hour a week contract or flexible Zero Hours contract 30 days paid holiday per year

• Training Package offered to all employees which includes fully funded Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare qualification.
