Required for 14.8 hours per week, Monday and Friday.
You will support the inclusion, attainment and achievement of vulnerable children and young people in school, home and community settings through direct work with children and young people, their families, and other support staff, as part of an Integrated Children’s Services approach.
You must be educated to HND level in a relevant area (Education, Social Work, Psychology or Health) or equivalent vocational qualification or relevant work experience. You will have practical experience of working with young people who are particularly vulnerable in terms of social, emotional, behavioural, learning or family difficulties. It is essential that you hold a full driving licence.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
