Your new role
Your new role as the Registered Manager and Head of Therapeutic Care for this beautiful new residential home will have many responsibilities, including the following ;
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a level 4/5 Manager and have experience working in Children’s social care at a management level for a minimum of 3 years in a residential setting. You must be confident in exercising appropriate behaviour management strategies, as well as being an expert in safeguarding practises.
Being in this role, you will be expected to work to the highest standards of care both on a personal level and working as part of a team. Leading and managing staff, as well as building a strong, cohesive team, is going to play an integral part of this role. Therefore, you must possess high communication skills both with children , young people and adults.
Finally, having the right attitude moving into this role is imperative. Being the Registered Manager of a new service requires true grit, determination and leadership to make it as successful as it can possibly be.
What you’ll get in return
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of between £40,000 – £48,000 depending on experience. There is also a very generous benefits package including 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays and much more.
You will receive in-depth training when you start and this will continue throughout your time in post. You will become an expert in all different types of holistic therapy and support that the organisation has to offer.
