Children’s Home Registered Manager Job in Cheshire, up to £40k per year
I am looking for an experienced manager for an established children’s home in Cheshire, the home is a well presented property in a small town just a short drive from the countryside offering the young people easy access to outdoor activities, walks and restaurants. The home specialises in supporting young people who have autism and currently has 3 young people in residence.
The current registered manager is retiring from the post after 6 years in charge, leaving behind a good track record with Ofsted, an experienced deputy and full staff team. With the level of support already in place this provides a good opportunity for the incoming manager to settle in smoothly. This is one of 8 services in operation so you will benefit from additional support when required as well as in house training from the company training and development team.
As the registered manager you will be expected to lead the home ensuring staff are working in the appropriate manner and the young people are well cared for in line with their needs. You will be responsible for the homes budget, staffing, Ofsted report and safeguarding.
