Childcare Worker, Based in Formby, 39 hours, Permanent contract

Your new company

You will be working for a registered charity with a mission for caring, protecting, educating and inspiring those who are vulnerable throughout the north west. They are looking for some passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team and assist in the development of the young people.

Your new role
You will be working for a support provider that actively promotes the safeguarding of vulnerable adults, young people and children. As a Child care worker, you must be optimistic and compassionate about the care you provide, promoting good childcare practices through the provision of a caring environment for the children in accordance with the home’s statement of purpose and function

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to showcase the organisations core values in their work with the young people, treating everybody with dignity and showing courage in the face of challenging behaviour. The successful candidates will have a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People’s workforce or equivalent or a willingness to work towards this, which will be funded via an accredited Apprenticeship.
