CCTV Officer – STR05515 Full Time

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced CCTV operators to work within our CCTV control suite based in Stirling City Centre. As part of the role you will be responsible for monitoring the Council’s Public Space CCTV network, liasing with internal and external partners, including Police Scotland and the Councils Community Safety Team. Stirling is a vibrant area, consisting of bustling town and city centre’s moving out into beautiful rural areas. In addition you will undertake a coordination role for deployment of Community Safety Enforcement officers to respond to dynamic incidents. You will be expected to show abilities such as multitasking, dealing with dynamic situations and responding to enquiries. The role will involve all aspects of control room based duties such as monitoring CCTV, communication with staff, contractors and emergency services providing a customer focused control room service.
The post is offered on a full time basis with a basic allowance of 35 hours per week, averaged over the shift pattern. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to cover additional hours during periods of annual leave within the service or in other extenuating circumstances. The successful candidate will be expected to work over a 7 day period, including evenings and weekends. More information about the pattern and the expectations will be discussed at interview
