Salary: £21,133 – £21,434 per year (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 36 per week

You don’t need previous experience in Adult Social Care to apply for the role of Kitchen Assistant. Whether your employment background is in retail, tourism, manufacturing or any other industry and you fancy a career change, all you need are the right values.
The roles available cover a variety of working patterns and shifts as well as full-time and part-time opportunities. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
