Salary: £28,854 to £34,057 per year
Hours: 36 per week – shift work basis
Sleep over, weekend and unsocial hours enhancements are applicable
Edinburgh Community Justice services are committed to providing high quality services while ensuring a compassionate approach to service users and supporting staff wellbeing. We offer a high level of training to support continuous professional development and to deliver a broad range of services and interventions, including established, accredited, group work programmes. We are implementing Trauma Informed Care, Safe & Together™ and Restorative Justice practice models and interventions across our services, and are establishing a Women’s Centre, in partnership with NHS Lothian, to reduce barriers and meet the needs of women involved in the community justice system.
We are seeking a Case Coordinator for our CRANE Services and invite applications from candidates interested in contributing to our dedicated, professional, and supportive team.
CRANE services work with people who present a high risk of harm in terms of sexual and/or violent offending. We provide residential accommodation and outreach services as part of multi-agency risk management planning to support those making the transition from prison back into the community.
We take pride in our contribution to Community Justice risk management and in the care we take in helping people resettle successfully. We would welcome interest from candidates who view this work with same positivity and enthusiasm.

We are seeking interest from candidates who demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are willing to work in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be willing to work on a shift basis.
Candidates will have a minimum qualification of an HNC/SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and experience in working in a residential or care setting is required. Experience of working in Criminal Justice and/or Social Care is welcomed
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
