A small residential setting, 6-10 residents – adults with learning disabilities. The company has an extremely good reputation and a supportive team who work collaboratively to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals.
Your new role
Being a Support Worker isn’t just about supporting someone in day to day life, it’s about having fun! The people we support are very involved in the things they like to do so they would love their Support Workers to play an active part in the things they enjoy as well. Fun could be anything from listening to music, gardening, going to church or even going to the seaside. We provide support that is person centred so that everyone has the right support for them.

Shifts: The shift pattern will include early shifts 07:00 – 15.00 and late day shifts 14:00 – 22:00. We are also considering Support Workers for flexible bank hours, great for those looking to work with flexibility.
What you’ll need to succeed
What you’ll need to succeed A minimum of 6 months experience supporting adults, ideally in a residential / supported living setting within the last 2 years.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 within an adult setting is desirable, but not essential
You will also be dedicated to helping vulnerable adults.
A DBS on the update service is desirable
