Careers Practitioner
Duration: Initially 6 months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Rate: £24 umbrella an hour (£19 PAYE an hour)
Greenwich Council are looking for a Careers Practitioner to join their team
Responsibilities:
Provide high impact information, advice and guidance to children and young people (and where appropriate their families) according to their local needs
Work collaboratively and build positive relationships with children, young people and their families demonstrating professional curiosity and anti-oppressive practice
Promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults in accordance with safeguarding, legal, regulatory and Early Help practice standards
Requirements:
Level 6 in Careers Guidance and Development
Substantial experience of working directly with children, young people and/or families providing advice, guidance and support
Good understanding of current and forthcoming develops in education and training that will impact on children, young people and families
