Undertake assessments within budgetary criteria, where individuals meet service eligibility, to meet the outcomes of older adults, and those with a physical disability including acquired brain injury, under the remit of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 and subsequent legislation relevant to the function of care management.
This position is 29 hours per week over 4 days to be, 7.25 hours per day over 4 days to be agreed.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 30 June 2023
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organisation.
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
Candidates must hold a recognised qualification for the role, professional qualification in Social Work – CQSW, Dip in Social Work, Dip /
Degree in Occupational Therapy or a Registered Nurse with Community
Experience and be registered with relevant professional body.
A current valid driving licence is required.
