To create and maintain effective administrative and I.T. processes to support the delivery of Moray Council Care at Home Service. To attend to Care schedule changes and emergency cover arrangements arrange cover when necessary. To ensure that all Moray Council procedures for the employment of Social Care Assistants are correctly observed and implemented.
Arrange for planned packages of care to be delivered at appropriate times in line with allocations agreed with Services.

Create and maintain administrative processes to ensure that work allocated is correctly authorised.
Develop and maintain I.T., Service User and Staff records.
Ensure that the necessary procedures relating to the employment of Social Care Assistants are correctly observed and implemented in accordance with Moray Council Policy and procedures.
Health and Safety recording in accordance with policy and procedure
Understanding of Moray Council Care Services structure.
Experience of working with both older people and those with physical and mental health disabilities and groups, in a community setting.
Awareness of the social, emotional and physical needs of people.
Significant experience in clerical/ administrative work including date input
4 SQA Standard grades or equivalent at level 3 or above including English & Maths.
Ability to develop and maintain administrative processes.
Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a small team.
High level of accuracy in work
Ability to prioritise own workload in the event of competing demands
Self confidence and self motivated
Effective organisational and time management skills
Demonstrable ability to use IT equipment including Word and Excel applications.
Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment
Appreciation, acceptance and commitment to the importance of confidentiality.
