Queens Quay is a 84 bedded residential care home, within West Dunbartonshire HSCP. The homes focus is supporting individuals to have a seamless journey from their home to Queens Quay, promoting person centred care through a collaborative multi- disciplinary approach.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who are looking for a new challenge. If you are looking to make a positive difference to peoples lives then this may be the job for you.
You would be joining an experienced and skilled staff team who are committed to delivering person centred care. There will be several development opportunities and training for you to participate in. The role involves supervising and leading our care staff, managing areas of the care home in the absence of the manager and deputes, carrying out audits, one to one supervision, and working with the residents and families. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of professional identity and an ability to work both independently and as part of a well established team. Experience in working in the care field is essential.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are “spent” under the provisions of the Act. In the event of employment any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
