The role involves working with Adults who have a Learning Disability in a community setting.

Must have or be willing to achieve in the first period of registration, the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF6 SVQ2 or equivalent to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Duties include supporting service users with all activities of daily living including health and well-being, personal care, moving and handling and managing finances.
Flexibility is required and the successful candidate will work various shifts on a rota basis including dayshifts, backshifts, weekends, sleepovers and/or nightshifts and public holidays.
This post involves working both as part of a team and at times lone working. You should demonstrate the skills and ability to use initiative and decision make.
You will have experience/awareness of Health and Care Standards service and SSSC Codes of Practice.
Competitive salary of £10.04 per hour rising to £11.29 per hour following yearly increments.
